December 2008

*I had a gift wrapping party at my house this year. It was sooo much fun! I am so glad I did it because gift wrapping wasn't such a burden this time. I would like to do this every year and add more people each time. So, get ready for your invite next time!

*Sis. Hagadorn had a few of us over to her house before Christmas. She got a lot of cute pics of us and some of the babies. Her's are probably awesome...the ones in the slideshow are from my camera. We ate lots of food and had a really good time.

* I had my appointment on December 10th. The doctor took a biopsy from two different parts of my cervix. The first one was about 30 seconds after she applied the anesthetic...which, let me tell you, is NOT enough time to numb you! We also believe she went a little too deep. Needless to say, I felt extreme pain and with that came a hot flash all over my body. The hot flash turned to panic which then turned to nausea and vomiting. It was not a pretty sight. Poor Joshua, I am surprised he made it through that traumatic experience. He believes that the doctor went too deep because of the amount of blood that I lost. He said it was EVERYWHERE and it looked like I had been shot. To say the least, I will NEVER be going back to that doctor again! Anyways, the nurse called me with my results on the 15th. She said that all I have to do is get another pap in 6 months. The dysplasia regressed back to mild. Thank you Jesus! God is soooo awesome and how could anyone not believe in the power of prayer?!?

*I registered for my classes at Jeff State this month. I will be starting on January 8,2008. I will be taking a BIOLOGY 201 class (with labs) and a PSYCHOLOGY 200 class, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've only taken one college course before, so this should be interesting to see how this goes.

*We had a wonderful Christmas with lots of yummy cajun cooking! My mom and niece (Coreena) came to visit for a few days.
We had a blast...with lots of pictures to prove it!

Hope all of you had a great time with food, family, and friends. Now that Christmas is over, the dieting can begin! Who's with me? Lol!
